Getting Started as a Church Admin

So you just purchased a group plan for your church, school, or ministry team. First off, welcome! We’re thrilled to have your community on Scriptured. Now let’s get you set up so your congregation can start their Bible study journey.

Finding Your Admin Dashboard

After your purchase goes through, you’ll land on a success page showing your unique access code. But what happens when you navigate away? How do you get back to manage your church?

Don’t worry, we’ve made it easy to find. There are two ways to access your Church Admin dashboard:

From Your Account Settings

Head to your account settings page and you’ll see a new “Church Administration” card right near the top. It shows your church name, how many members have joined, and your subscription status. Just click “Manage Church” and you’re in.

Click your profile icon in the top navigation and you’ll now see a “Church Admin” option in the dropdown menu. One click and you’re at your dashboard.

Once you’re in the admin dashboard, you’ve got everything you need to manage your community. Let’s walk through what you can do here.

Your Access Code

This is the magic key that gives your congregation Pro access. You’ll see it displayed prominently at the top of your dashboard. There are a few ways to share it:

Copy the code directly - Great for announcements, emails, or bulletins. Just click “Copy Code” and paste it wherever you need.

Share the join link - Send your members to scriptured.app/join/YOURCODE and they can sign up right there.

Download the QR code - Perfect for printed bulletins, posters, or slides during announcements. Members can scan it with their phone camera and go straight to the signup page.

Tracking Your Seats

Your dashboard shows exactly how many of your available seats are in use. If you’re running a 25-seat plan and 18 people have joined, you’ll see that at a glance. When you’re getting close to your limit, we’ll let you know so you can consider upgrading.

Managing Members

See everyone who’s joined your church on Scriptured. You can:

View the full member list with names and emails
Remove members who are no longer part of your community (this frees up a seat)
See who joined and when

Note that you can’t remove yourself since you’re the admin. And don’t worry, removing someone just revokes their Pro access. It doesn’t delete their account or any notes they’ve made.

Regenerating Your Access Code

If your access code gets shared too widely or you just want a fresh start, you can generate a new one. The old code will stop working, but anyone who already joined keeps their access. Only new signups need the new code.

How Your Members Join

Here’s what the experience looks like for your congregation:

They visit scriptured.app/join/YOURCODE (or scan your QR code)
If they already have an account, they sign in. If not, they create one
They enter your church’s access code
They instantly get Pro access to everything on Scriptured

That’s it. No payment info, no complicated setup. Just enter the code and they’re in.

Managing Your Subscription

Need to upgrade to more seats? Want to update your payment info? You can manage all your billing from the admin dashboard. Just click “Manage Billing” and you’ll be taken to our secure payment portal where you can:

Update your payment method
Change your plan
View past invoices
Cancel if needed

Tips for Getting Your Congregation Started

Announce it during service - Put the QR code on a slide and give people 30 seconds to scan it right there.

Add it to your weekly email - A simple “Join our church on Scriptured” section with the code works great.

Print it in the bulletin - The QR code downloads as a high-quality image perfect for print.

Create a welcome packet - For new members, include Scriptured access as part of their welcome materials.

Start a reading plan together - Coordinate a church-wide Bible reading plan and use the Scriptured reading tracker to keep everyone accountable.
